A fantastic assignment (thanks Amy) to shoot portraits of jump jockeys at Newbury. Such a fascinating day, shooting inside the weighing room and the winners enclosure. The best lighting and laughter once again from Tom Andrew.
Sneaky peek at our War Child Be Here Now shoot with Faithless. 5 frames before their two hour set, and about the same after. The final piece will look so good! More info here:http://www.beherenowphoto.com/
Faithless for Be Here Now
A sold out Brixton, every crowd member belting out every single word. Roaring, you could say. Tim Booth looked out on the room like he loved them to a man. Shooting them Before and After, James had the most glorious happy vibe and deservedly so.
Tim + James
We've had a great year. Read their fruity metaphors and florrid diction at the-fly.co.uk
Thank you Niall, Hat and JJ at The Fly
Smashed it. Where this features in their career arc I've no idea as I was listening to d+b when they were peaking but tonight they owned a huge venue, without doubt.
Suede at O2
I appreciate that this shot might not blow your socks off but with my job the greatest highlight is always the people you can meet. I've shot Robyn a few times before and soon he's touring with his friend Joe Boyd. Click on this link and marvel at Joe's work. Unfathomable how 'on' his career has been, from Pink Floyd to Nick Drake and the soundtrack to Deliverance. An honour to spend an afternoon with them both and well worth further investigation.
Joe Boyd and Robyn Hitchcock
It's unusual to hear a crowd chanting for the BBC.
Bombay Bicycle Club at The Troxy.
If Janelle isn't huge next year, I'm chucking my Canons in the canal.
Janelle Monae. Sorry. That's it.
Sometimes it's hard to imagine that Black Eyed Peas are on the same planet as this.
Janelle Monae. I can't help it.
One of the best performances I have ever seen, and in a mere support slot. Tour dates announced today.
Janelle Monae. Words fail me.

A charismatic, beautiful, warm hearted gentleman.
Patrick Wolf at Terminal Studios, prior to a short run on tour.
Have been shooting what I'm hoping will be a killer start to the year, the must see bands of 2011 according to The Fly. Loads of portraits of some brilliant, new talent. Out in Jan. Link to The (UK's biggest music monthly, ahem) Fly here.
Funeral Party sure put the fun in funeral.
A hugely astonishing event, photographed for MTV for the 3rd year running with boss snapper Nic Rand. Long lunches and long days.
MTV EMA 2010 in Madrid
Be Here Now is dominating my life. Thank God someone else likes it too. Click here if you're not sick of it.
3 in a month on FWA Photo Of The Day!
I can't show you the portraits yet but the live show was astonishing. Punter stage invasion, MIA crowd surfing and climbing from balcony to stage via a precarious scaffolding route and of course THE most banging music. Be Here Now - launching publicly with War Child in a big way soon.
I shot MIA for Be Here Now
They have such a passion for photography, check the link and their many contributors, myself proudly included. Great tees for sale too.
I really love The Quiet Life.
Especially when with War Paint.
Be Here Now is tremendous fun.
Super stoked about this. Thanks MTV, Shakira, FWAphoto.com, my parents...
